Just started a Jewelry II class at the downtown MATC in Madison. I'll be focusing on producing a series of cast sterling silver rings through May... Stay tuned!

About Me
ShortBlackDog Designs and Vintage arose from the ashes of being laid-off from the job I had worked at for the past decade. Getting back to my roots as a metalsmith is something I fantasized about daily as I helped countless artists market their work to the public in my former day job.
Thanks to my bff (and husband), Paul, for being super duper supportive and encouraging during this time of change. Thanks to my current metals teacher, Kristie Reiser Chijimatsu, who is extremely patient and knowledgeable. Thanks to Fred Fenster who led me down this path in the first place all those years ago at UW-Madison. And finally, THANK YOU to my friends and family who've supported shortblackdog designs along the way!
